Nordvpn is fast and reliable. The interface is friendly and easy to use on multiple platforms. It gives me peace of mind while traveling on public WiFi and allows me to access great content.
honestly, never heard of this VPN before seeing it here. however, the GUI looks extremely outdated and honestly the company doesn't seem to be that active on socials or even have a discord. just feels like its going to die in a few years tbh. also free plan has lots of limits.
i've been using protonmail for some time so though I would try out protonvpn as well. however, the free experience is a bit of a let down as my speeds were not up to snuff. figured I would try another VPN since I dont want all my eggs in one basket so to speak....
got this VPN after seeing tom recommend it for bypassing UK content blocks. so far, its been incredibly smooth. easy to use and login, works on a few different devices. not a a bad deal either and I got a free $20 amazon gift card that was legit.
I easily was able to sign into my android phone windows,it even has a Linux app which is a very useful feature for some people i have a laptop which i use Linux on.The linux app is out dated in therms of look but in features it has the same amount. Some people say that it is better because it has less bloat but i would appreciate if it looked cool like the windows version. There is only native gnome support but i installed the app like 20 times never had a problem, I use kde plasma.Speeds are super fast for me faster than my isp normal speed by far tho that is likely because my isp is limiting my internet speed.Ping could be improved but it s fine for most.I really like this vpn.I have bought the plus plan but after i liked it so much i have bought the unlimited plan that includes the whole proton eco system besides lumo. Never had a problem with netflix or disney+.In my country it is so much cheaper than nord or surfshark.10/10 Also i am gonna stay because this has port forwarding and i download lots of liinux distros.

I have been using Brave Search before I use SearXNG as main search engine. Brave Search is good but not perfect. Brave Search is a privacy search engine. I like other Privacy Search Engines. Brave Search use it's own metadata. I think some tiny percent part are from Google and Bing. I use Brave Search as a backup Search Engine when my self hosting server is not working (which means I can't use SearXNG). Brave Search is still holds up as good Privacy Search Engine.

Whoogle is a self hosting version of Google. It only use Google metadata. It does it's job hide your traffic from Google. The user interface is not as good as SearXNG and Startpage. Just like SearXNG. You do have to self host your own Whoogle by using Docker or other self hosting tools. But there are several people host public instance. If you go to this URL. It takes you a list of Whoogle Public Instance. https://github.com/benbusby/whoogle-search#public-instances Personally, I think SearXNG is better than Whoogle. Whoogle only use Google metadata compare to SearXNG uses multiple different search engines metadata. SearXNG has more public instance than Whoogle. Not bad. Still recommend it.

What if I told you there is a Privacy-focus Search Engine that is run by you? Yep, it's true! You can self host your own Search Engine and it's free! SearXNG is a metasearch engine that use all metadata from multiple different search engines like Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Brave Search, etc. All your traffic will be hidden when searching your results. There is 1 con. That is you do have to self host your own by using Docker. But the good news is. There are many people self host their own SearXNG instance and it's available to the public for Free. Using someone else instance is a great start to get your feet wet before self hosting your own. Here's a link to all SearXNG Public Instances. https://searx.space/ I really like SearXNG. It gets the job done and I always keep using SearXNG when search something on the web.

This is the most secured portable privacy-focus operating system ever. Tails OS has Tor Browser and Tor Network build-in. It has an option to hide your local network while connecting to Tor. All the data you've done in Tails OS are stored into your Memory RAM. If you shut down your computer. All the data from Tails OS will be completely erased. This is perfect if you don't want anyone or the feds to see what you're doing on your computer or what you're doing in the Dark Web. I heard if your USB Flash Drive is remove from your laptop. Tails OS will stop working and shutdown. I have tested with Ventoy Multiboot USB Drive. Tails OS is still running after removing a flash drive. I'm not sure if this only works with standalone USB Flash Drive or I was mislead. Keep that in mind. Tor is not for everyday use. It's only for anonymous reasons and for accessing Dark Web. Just like Tor Browser. The Internet Speed will be slower when connecting into Tor Network. I highly recommend Tails OS for Tor users and more security.
No problems with this VPN Service, im on a gig ethernet connection and speeds are 937mbps and above, ping is around 7 to 10, tested all servers and they are fast.

If you want a good privacy out of the box browser, or if you want to get some people into privacy. Change their browser from google chrome to brave, it will load websites faster due to not loading ads and lower usage on pc!

This DNS Server protects your privacy. You can setup on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. I personally recommend setup Quad9 DNS on your main router. So everything is protected. DNS Server: 9.9.9.9 149.112.112.112
It's a decent and cheap VPN that bundles 2 dedicated IP addresses with their streaming plan. I primarily use it to watch Netflix and Amazon prime. It does a decent job unlocking geo-restricted content for me. I don't use it for torrenting but from what I've heard, they're good for that too. What I dislike is the fact that the VPN has not been updated after 26th Feb 2024 . The application still works fine but it is not a good sign. The main reason I'm giving it a high rating is the fact that they give a VPN subscription + 2 dedicated IP addresses for $100.99. A basic plan + 1 dedicated IP address for 2 years costs $179.52 with Nord VPN. The desktop application's interface does not look great. It could use a touchup but it works.. so, it's not too bad.
This VPN used to be one of the best VPNs out there. Then things changed: they started removing affiliates for no reason, took ages to release updates, and reintroduced old bugs that had previously been fixed. Don’t get me wrong — this VPN still performs, but it’s a shadow of what it used to be. Features? It definitely has most of what users want. It boasts a kill switch, protocol selection (OpenVPN, WireGuard, etc.), split-tunneling (on Android), and app scripts — basically a way to automate actions like launching or closing apps, or even opening websites. It also offers DNS/IPv6/WebRTC leak protections, stealth proxy and obfuscation, dedicated IPs, and a fairly wide range of app availability/support. If you need a feature, it likely has it. Device support is also solid — as hinted at above. The supported platforms are broad and include: - Windows (7, 8, 10, 11) - macOS (Intel-based and Apple Silicon) - Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch, and more) - Android - iOS/iPadOS - Chrome and Firefox extensions - Routers (DD-WRT, Tomato, pfSense, OpenWRT, AsusWRT, GL.iNet, and MikroTik — manual configs only, last I used) And it doesn’t stop there. There’s also TV support, including: - Smart TVs (via VPN routers and Smart DNS) - FireTV/Firestick - Apple TV - Roku Plus gaming consoles (including the Nintendo Switch) — all usable through a VPN router or Smart DNS. You can even run it on virtual machines (like VMware or VirtualBox), Docker containers (Linux-based), and NAS devices like Synology, QNAP, using OpenVPN/WireGuard config. Now... why does it have 2.5 out of 5 stars, and not 4 or even 5 stars, as this review may initially suggest? Well, as mentioned earlier, they’ve been removing VPN reviewers’ affiliate links for no reason, reintroducing old bugs, and taking forever to release updates. I think I aged from 25 to 60 just waiting for their GUI update — which wasn’t even that major in the end. These issues combined are what led to such a hit on their overall rating. That said, if you want to look past these flaws, you absolutely can — and purchase this VPN based on the feedback above. Just know that it’s quite pricey if you’re not using affiliate links — and even those, which once were lifetime, now come with the caveat that they might be removed at any time, without warning or reason.
This VPN is a great VPN in and of itself; however, there are many things that riddle it with problems. This VPN is one that will not be for most, and there are many reasons for that. One of many reasons is the application looks like it was made on MS-DOS and then remastered on Windows 98. Many of the settings, most VPN users are not really going to understand, and furthermore, most of the settings users are not even going to care about or even want in the application to begin with. It has most features you need, but at the expense of complexity and bugs. For an application that looks like it came out with the first ever Super Computer, you would be surprised that there are even bugs in it at all. For the most part, it does what it is supposed to do, but it needs a huge facelift to compete with anything of the likes of Proton, Nord, or hell............ even Express. One of the major bugs/issues this VPN has is with its Killswitch; there are many times you will have it on in settings, but it fails to arm on connect, and you must turn it off just to connect—and this is a huge downside, especially with a VPN that boasts privacy and anonymity and "for hackers" as some weirdos might say. But hey... if you are okay with a solid 1/10 for looks and a solid 8-9/10 for features and can look past its flaws... at least you come up with a solid 3-4/10 product. The other major downside is the lack of device support—this VPN does not support platforms like Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku streaming sticks, gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), smart TVs (except via router setup), and other niche devices. This is a huge, huge issue for many users, and one of the main reasons so many people switch to VPNs like NordVPN, ProtonVPN, etc., since those services support a wide variety of devices and offer much more diverse compatibility.
this vpn is literally only known because it use to be half decent and was always giving away lifetime bundles. however, lifetime bundles are usually a scam. read this for more info: https://www.techspot.com/news/107896-vpn-service-cancels-lifetime-subscriptions-after-takeover-new.html
NordVPN itself is awesome—fast speeds, works on everything, super easy to use, and barely any issues. Honestly, one of the best VPNs I’ve tried. But the company behind it? Kinda shady. They do sneaky stuff like auto-renewal upcharges, charging early without notice, and used to have fake countdown timers to pressure you into buying. You can’t even check old pricing on the Wayback Machine because they block it. Plus, the same company that owns Nord also owns a media company that constantly writes glowing reviews for them. So yeah, the VPN rocks, but their marketing gives off some serious used car salesman vibes. Still giving it 4/5 just because the product is actually that good.
NymVPN sounds great on paper with its focus on privacy through mixnet technology, but in reality, it's a frustrating, half-baked product. The speeds are painfully slow, especially in anonymous mode, and even the "fast" WireGuard mode performs well below average. It’s filled with bugs—frequent disconnects, crashes, broken UI, and no kill switch—which makes it unreliable for anyone who actually needs consistent protection. Add in the clunky setup process, high CPU usage, and lack of proper platform support, and it feels more like a privacy science experiment than a real VPN. Stick with something mature like ProtonVPN or Mullvad unless you're just trying to tinker.
AirVPN is okay if you're mainly focused on privacy. It’s got a decent no-logs policy and some nice advanced settings if you’re into tweaking things. That said, I’ve tried a bunch of VPNs, and honestly, ProtonVPN is just better in almost every way. It has an iOS app, an Apple TV app, works with way more platforms, has faster speeds, and it's open source too. Plus, it actually works for streaming, which AirVPN usually doesn't. So yeah, AirVPN isn’t terrible, but unless you’re super technical and only care about privacy, there are better options out there.

Tor Browser is the most secured and privacy Web Browser. Tor (The Onion Router) is a Darknet that tunnels your connection to multiple computers multiple times until it reach to it's final destination. Besides privacy. Tor Browser allows you to access the Dark Web. If you don't what the Dark Web is. On the Iceberg chart. There are 3 different layers of the internet. Surface Web where you can easy find a website through Search Engines. Deep Web is where websites are hidden from search engines such as your Bank Account, your Netflix Library, and even unlisted YouTube videos. If you click on this link. It takes you to unlisted YouTube video that you can't normally find it on YouTube search or any Search Engines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRmd4nDSdpk Dark Web is basically like the Deep Web but the website is encrypted and it can only be access through Tor Network. We know there are illegal websites that are hidden through Dark Web. But Dark Web is not just for criminals. Dark Web are used by journalists, whistleblowers, and everyone who wants to be anonymous. Do you know Facebook, Reddit, and DuckDuckGo has the Dark Web version of it's websites? There is a major con and that is the speed. Because you're connected to multiple onions. The chance are you're getting slow speed. Tor Browser is not for everyday use. It's only for anonymous reasons.

I’ve been using StartMail for several months. The web user interface is very nice. It supports custom domain. It has a Dark Theme. There is one thing that makes me think is not perfect at all and that is there’s no native app for iOS and Android at all. If you’re looking for an encrypted email provider that has native app support. You wanna look someplace else. Because you have to use IMAP feature on 3rd Party Email Apps like Apple Mail.

I'm been using Brave Browser for years and I never going back to Google Chrome. This browser has AdBlock build-in. If you found Ads that are very annoying. This browser will terminate all of these Ads. Before you start replying with negative feedback. Yes, I know using AdBlock is taking money away from content creators and website hosts who worked so hard and make a lot of money from making content and hosting a website. Brave Browser has a feature to support Content Creators and Website Hosts. Is called BAT (Basic Attention Token). It's a cryptocurrency. If you have BAT in your Brave Browser Wallet. You will send BAT to Content Creators and Website Hosts and they get paid with crypto. If you also turn off AdBlock and support websites by dealing with Ads. Brave Browser has Brave Rewards Program where you get paid with BAT by getting pop-up Ads. Just make sure you turn on Brave Browser Notfication in your Windows Settings, MacOS Settings, or Linux Settings. So you get Ad popup to earn BAT. If you want to exchange BAT to real world money or other cryptocurrency. You do need Uphold Account to transfer BAT from Brave Browser to Crypto Exchange Account. If you're using BlueRetro for Retro Gaming Consoles. Keep that in mind. BlueRetro is not compatible with Brave Browser. You have to use Google Chrome in order to use BlueRetro for Firmware Update or configure Bluetooth Controllers. I highly recommend Brave Browser as Google Chrome alternative.

DuckDuckGo is a privacy focused search engine that is primarily used as a google alternative and those who prefer not to be tracked by websites. I personally use DuckDuckGo here and there, but a huge issue is search results.. We know Google is the search engine king and sadly no competitors can reach the results Google gives, must be all those trackers and algorithm trying to show you things you like.. which is good, but you are being tracked and most likely your data is being used to train AI. I personally do not use AI as much but DuckDuckGo AI promises to not sell your data nor track you so there is a gemini alternative.. Overall it is not bad, but search results are poor and it has slow loading times.
Of course everyone that looks up VPN'S or are interested in VPN'S have heard of Surfshark.. I myself was interested, but I had suspicion of a few things until I ended up trying it.. IPV6.. that is a serious concern for me, Surfshark says they DO NOT support the IPV6 protocol.. this was the biggest concern of mine.. but I said screw it, lets try it out and see how it works. Installed Surfshark and acitvated the 7 Day Free Trial via Google Play. And wow, it worked and I immediately went to an IPLEAK test and DNS LEAK website to test if it Surfshark blocked IPV6.. And to my surprise, it did! It said IPV6 is not reachable on both windows and android device.. I was impressed and I am on my 2nd day with only 1 serious issue.. And that is connection.. I have ProtonVPN on both of my devices and that seemed to interfere with Surfshark, so I disabled the kill switch for both and turned off auto connect so Surfshark can focus in on the connection and so far no connection issues since.. Not bad, but the firestick app does have a few hiccups like long connecting times and it cancels out with a diagnostic error. This bothers me because its been a mixed experience and I truly wish to test it further, but it's been decent and I am mixed on whether or not it's.. good?
For reasons that are complex and won't be expalined, I can only pay for VPN services with prepaid giftgards, like VISA, for example ergo, Torguard is the only VPN that allows that payment method, so I've had to stick with them, because the main reason I even have or want a VPN in the 1st place, is for torrenting and the occasional livestream that I'm on 0_0

Librewolf is a fork of Firefox that promises and provides you a privacy focused browser. It blocks out ALL telemetry data collection and enables A LOT of privacy focused features automatically which Firefox does not. It is lightweight with my testing and it handles memory quite well! I enjoy the experience I have with it and have been on and off using it. There are no problems with extensions or Firefox features that I have noticed which is great! I would recommend this to people who do not want to use a chromium based browser, but focuses on Privacy and a great user experience!

uBlock origin does its job very well.. it blocks ads.. EVERY single ad.. I have been using the extension for over 4 years.. lucky me for finding this so early! It blocks every harmful and "innocent" ads and has a filter list so you can have control over what you want to filter out. I do like its UI, it is simple yet effective! Tells you how many ads it has blocked and trackers, which works very well and tells you in its icon as well! Overall I would say this is one of the best adblockers and semi-anti-tracker tools that does not require you to pay, so it's a huge win!
Finally, a VPN that actually works as advertised. Performance remains consistent even during peak hours. Advanced features are actually useful. Regular updates show active development. A solid choice that won't let you down.
Windscribe is a VPN that has a generous free tier, it includes 2 gb FREE if you DON'T offer your email.. 10 gb FREE if you DO. I think this is great! It is a nice way for people to try out Windscribe and see if it is right for them! I have had no issues using their service, however data runs out quickly it is not really that usable unfortunately!
"Privacy first, No exceptions" *except when we sell your data In Oct. 2024 they changed their Privacy Policy, one of the big parts that was changed was: "AzireVPN will never share or sell your Personal Data with any third parties. In case of one of our payment providers force us to provide an email or any other identifiable Personal Data associated with the user's account, we replace the Personal Data with an anonymized information generated by our service." which was changed to: "We will never sell your Personal Data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. However, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, your Personal Data may be transferred to the acquiring organization as part of that transaction. In case of one of our payment providers force us to provide an email or any other identifiable Personal Data associated with the user's account, we replace the Personal Data with an anonymized information generated by our service." shortly after they sold the company to Malwarebytes (USA based company), which technically means they sold Personal Data even if it was not directly. "Privacy first, No exceptions" *except for payments At some point in late 2024 / early 2025 they stopped accepting all payments in crypto (they used to accept Monero fitting to their "Privacy first, No exceptions" slogan), they didn't announce it anywhere and made no blog post about it, its was just gone from 1 day to the next In May of 2025 they switched to Cleverbridge as a payment provider which requires personal identifiable information for payments (name, email, zip code) while that is quite common for payment provider it kind of defeats the point of not requiring an email on registration when you need to provide them an email to pay for the service (no free service, no other payment option). Now to my actual experience with them: - solid speeds - very few bugs - no streaming services worked - IP's blocked in most games - I needed to contact support 2 times, 1st time it took them 5 weeks to reply and I'm still waiting for the 2nd reply (its been 5 months and yes I did try to poke them on Matrix but nothing) Conclusion: I was happy with the service I got but I am really unhappy with the direction Azire is going and I regret paying for 12 months (2 weeks left) so I'm actively looking for a new VPN.
Windscribe the product is very good, good customizable apps, works with unblocking streaming, trustworthy company and has unlimted devices. Even does good pricing!
Never buy this vpn, firstly its too expensive got nothing positive to say, its a browser vpn extention only, just no point.
